Mallory Ward is a strategic communications and public affairs professional with nearly 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, industry associations, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, and political campaigns.
As the founder of Mallory Ward Communications, LLC, Mallory advises clients on how to thrive in today’s rapidly changing media and political landscape. She specializes in crafting clear, compelling communications strategies that align with business and policy objectives — helping organizations enhance their visibility, raise awareness of key issues, influence outcomes, and achieve their goals. She brings deep experience in developing and executing integrated communications and advocacy campaigns that drive impact and deliver results. Mallory also works closely with clients on issues management, crisis communications, and thought leadership.
Prior to founding her own firm, Mallory served as Executive Vice President at Reservoir Communications Group. In this role, she led large-scale communications campaigns and developed integrated strategies that combined research insights, media relations, digital platforms, storytelling, coalition-building, and grassroots initiatives to achieve measurable results.
Mallory also held leadership roles at APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs and strategic communications firm, where she worked on advocacy campaigns, crisis communications, community engagement, and thought leadership initiatives.
Her experience in both the public and private sectors, along with her work on numerous political campaigns in New York State, has further honed her expertise in strategic issue management, coalition building, stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
Mallory’s work has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil Awards, the SABRE Awards, the Telly Awards, and the PRNEWS Platinum Awards.
Mallory holds a B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College at Columbia University. She is an active board member and Vice President of the American Pharmacists Association Foundation. When she’s not working, Mallory lives in Bethesda, MD, with her husband, their four-year-old daughter, and their beloved chocolate lab.
